Frequently Asked Questions

I remember the first time I had a Tarot /Psychic reading. I was nervous and excited. I was also very frigtened because of all the "bad" things I heard about the "psychic" business. I was used to reading my horoscope that seemed pretty safe, it was published in the Daily News afterall. Nothing evil about that. Right? But, as I grew more and traveled further on the path. I because quite curious about readings so at a UFO conference, I decided to bite.
Later, I discovered that Tarot Readers and Clairvoyants have different styles, methods and levels of competance. But I never new to this whole thing I had no idea of what to expect. I've had readings done where they asked all the questions and I thought "Aren't you suppose to know that, your the psychic!" but I carried on and found that different psychic picked up on different aspects of my life. My favorite Tarot reader in New Orleans taught me to write down a list of questions to bring with me so that I would have a better focus and get better results from my readings. She didn't need me to ask questions though, she just laid it for me, with alarming accuracy. Finally, she told I was only getting readings to confirm what I already knew and I could do this same work and would be. So here we are!

How do I prepare for a psychic reading?
Your mental state has a lot to do with the results  and accuacy of your reading. Most people call for reading when the immediate problems arise. They are caught up in the moment, angry, desperate, sad, depressed, or really want him/her to like me. Readings consist of energy work- so it is best to consider all of your feelings when you get a reading. Take a few breaths and try to relax. If you choose you may request a prayer or moment of silence to allow your Higher Self, guides, angels and teachers assist in the readings.

Can Tarot really tell my future?
For the most part yes, but even the Bible doesn't have an exact date on when Judgement Day will come. Tarot offers snapshots of where you've been, where you are, and where you are likely to be headed. Nothing can take the place of your 'free will'.

What kinds of questions can I ask?
The cards give the best answers for whatever questions are asked. The secret is properly phrasing the question. For example: instead of "Is my husband cheating?" you can ask, "What do I need to know about my marriage? or "Is is wise to continue in this marriage?".
Instead of " Will my business have lots of success?" try "Will my business be financially stable and successful?". A professioanl reader will help you rephrase your question to help you benefit from a good reading. Asking questions about third parties are considered unethical.

I had a reading and didn't get anything out of it, the psychic was way off, why?
Psychics are not perfect and accurate all the time. You can expect to have a reader with at least a 75% accuracy rate. Sometimes you may only need to hear information that get you to the nest step. You still have to make choices and and you can takes steps to personal empowerment.

Should I "test" a psychic? There are lots of frauds.
Testing makes lots of readers very frustrated. Believe it or not some may test you to see if your testing them. Keep your reading short and to the point until you feel comfortable with your reader. Saves everyone time, wasted efforts and money.

Can reading be done jointly like for couples?
Yes, especially if you want to improve your relationships in a therapeutic session, it is best to include the other person or at least  ask their permission. Reading can be done for past lives, improving your relationships and finding out the lessons you have to learn from each other.

What if I hear something bad?
You should never be biased to good or bad news in a Tarot reading. The reader's task should be to provide information from a Higher Consciousness. I follow a Code of Ethics and try to use tact and professionalism in my readings. Once again readings are for empowerment. You have the abilites to change any negatives to something positive.
